Oirschot, Camperplaats Oirschot

N51.500518, E5.3219

This place is excellent. Neat and tidy landscaped area, good level gravel hard standing. Off road, so quiet. Marked out bays, each with EHU and water. Unisex facilities are of high quality, spotlessly clean, and Toilets, Shower, Washbasins, Dish Washing. There is also a Motorhome service point, with drive over drain, toilet disposal etc. There is even an information hut, with local walks, cycle rides etc! Small town, with selection of supermarkets, including a Lidl about 7 minutes walk. Cycle track adjacent, Check-in and payment, if owner not around, is via "Honesty Box", using envelopes provided, instructions in several languages, including English. Price 13.50Euro/Night, for Motorhome and two people. EHU (optional) 2.50Euro/night. Hot water for showers, dish washing sinks via meter, 1 Euro.

Roermond Marina

N51.183439, E5.964565.

A very smart Marina development just outside of Roermond. Barriered entrance, with intercom to gain admittance. Motorhome bays are clearly marked on a large block paved area. Each bay has EHU point. Facilities are in an adjacent building, and, are of an excellent standard. In late September 2019, it is 30Euro per night! There are no other Motorhomes here, I wonder why?

Roermond. Resort Marina Oolderhuuske

N51.192169, 5.94933.

A very smart Marina development, with barrier controlled entrance. We do not even get as far as checking the price, it is pouring with rain, and the Marina is a fairly long bicycle ride from any "civilisation", probably a beautiful and very suitable place, in summer weather, but, not practical, given the weather forecast for the next few days.

Roermond. Helenawerf

N51.19377, 5.979741.

First impressions may not be good, access is poorly signed, and, you have to drive through a rather untidy boat yard to gain entry. The photographs on the SearchforSites website flatter the place. However, at 11:30 on a wet Thursday in late September, the place is half full, we reason that perhaps, people know something we don't? The plus points are: Reception (in Harbour Masters Office/Shop) are very helpful and friendly, they speak excellent English. Facilities are PortaCabin style, but are spotless, and everything works as it should. Wifi is free. Price is 15.25Euro/night, inclusive of EHU and Taxes (for two people). The town is 5 minutes walk away, and has dozens of eating/drinking places, shops, a massive Designer Outlet Centre.

Delft, Delftse Hout

N52.01813 E4.37919

Delftse Hout,  is an ACSI site, located in a park area, about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Delft (old town). The approach was slightly confusing, at least, it confused me! requiring two attempts, first time around. First, the wrong turn. Second time around, the correct turn! Basically do NOT turn left at the second set of lights, but, wait for the roundabout, right infant of IKEA. This site's major attraction is it's proximity to Delft. It is also near Rotterdam and The Hague (they are even in bicycle range).

Maastricht, Camping Oriental, Berg en Terblijt

An ACSI site, a short distance outside Maastrict. Good facilities, bus to town from gate. Site appears to be located at top of the only hill in the Netherlands!
